Heaven was created in the beginning (Genesis 1). Jesus ascended to prepare it for us personally—to build the mansions that are there.
God has been preparing the kingdom for us since the creation of the world, but He is still preparing it for us. One exciting thought is that God created all of the world we see today. Imagine our world without sin or death or disease—the way it was when He originally create it. God did all of this in only six days, but the Bible says Jesus has been preparing a place for those who know Him for about two thousand years! Imagine what a difference this will be from our experiences on earth! Will you be there?
