Response
The wicked may live long in this life. However, this life is so short compared to eternity.
In James 4:14, the Bible says, “For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.” And so even if the wicked live long in this life, their “long life” is still just a vapor when compared to eternity. The righteous, on the other hand, have everlasting life.
