Are those who obey the law cursed?

Those who are under the law are cursed because they do not obey it perfectly.  No one can obey the law perfectly except for Christ.

If a man could keep the law perfectly from the heart, then no, he would not be cursed, but this is not possible as “all have sinned” (Romans 3:23).  Thus, those who try to keep the law perfectly so they can go to heaven are fighting a lost cause because they already have broken God’s laws many times.  This is why Jesus Christ came to earth to die for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day, to provide a way of salvation from our eternal punishment.
