"Did God give Gehazi leprosy?" (Alleged Contradiction #E8866)
The leprosy therefore of Naaman shall cleave unto thee, and unto thy seed for ever. And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow.
II Kings 5:27
And the king talked with Gehazi the servant of the man of God, saying, Tell me, I pray thee, all the great things that Elisha hath done.
II Kings 8:4
Response
Yes, God gave Gehazi leprosy. The king simply may have spoken to Gehazi though he was a leper. Or, God may have cured him of leprosy between chapters 5 and 8 (for instance, see I Kings 13:6). Either way, there is no contradiction.
