"Did Enoch die?" (Alleged Contradiction #E8680)
And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
Genesis 5:24
By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. … These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

When Hebrews 11:13 says “These all died in faith,” obviously the author expects us to take into account the clear exception that he explicitly gave just a few verses earlier: “By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death…” No other book is treated so cynically, and God expects us to read it normally, using common sense.
