Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

Response
If a thief comes to Christ, God will save him and change his heart so that he is no longer a thief. Read the rest of I Corinthians 6: Paul said, “And such were some of you [including thieves]: but ye are washed…”. However, a thief who lives as a thief and dies as a thief has not been saved and will not go to heaven.
