Can God be found?

All those who seek God while He can be found will find Him (Isaiah 55:6).  There will be a day when it is too late, however.

For instance, Proverbs 1:27 speaks of “fear,” “desolation,” “”destruction,” “distress,” and “anguish.”  Matthew 7:8 is speaking of the judgment, and Psalm 18:41 is speaking of destruction (see Psalm 18:40).  Also, some of these verses may be speaking of God not responding when someone calls on Him with the wrong heart (e.g., just to get out of the situation, not because they really care about obeying God).
