"The second law of thermodynamics defies evolution. (#C971)
The second law of thermodynamics states that in a closed system, usable energy always decreases over time. If the universe has been around forever, we should have no usable energy left, since it would be infinitely decreasing. Since we have usable energy left, the universe must have had a beginning. However, the first law of thermodynamics states that matter cannot create itself; therefore, it must have been created by God.
