If evolution were true, our brains would be the result of chance random processes and natural selection. Therefore, we would have no free choice in what we believe, but rather, our beliefs would be the result of natural selection and our environment. This is ironic as evolutionists often claim to be free and open thinkers. If evolution is true, they are just believing what nature tells them to.
This makes evolutionist’s anger against Christians and others who disagree irrational. After all, none of us can control what we believe (if evolution is true). So why do many evolutionists get so angry? A more reasonable explanation is that we have a free will and souls, and that man has sinned as in rebellion against God. This explains evolutionists’ anger against Christians, whereas the theory of evolution itself does not explain it very well.
