God can be found today. There is coming a day, however, when it will be too late. This is why the Bible says:
(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
II Corinthians 6:2
For instance, Proverbs 1:28 speaks of the day of desolation (see verse 27). Luke 13:24 says that many will seek to enter in–in the future, when it is too late. We must accept Christ today, while we are still alive and have a chance.
