Yes, it is possible to fall from grace, since Paul stated so in Galatians 5:4 (see also Hebrews 6:4-6, II Peter 2:20). John 10:28 does not contradict this, nor does Romans 8:38. Instead, they simply state that no one else and nothing else can separate us from our salvation. God will perform His end of the deal no matter what; we just need to perform ours, trusting in Christ’s grace. If we trust in the law, as Galatians 5:4 warns about, then we are not trusting in Christ.
In other words, the only way that we can fall from grace is if we do the falling. No one else (and nothing else) can take our salvation from us. On a side note, by comparing other verses it seems that those who “fall from grace” were never really saved to begin with–they just seemed so to most people.
