Did Judas identify Jesus with a kiss?

The Bible says that Judas identified Jesus with a kiss (Matthew 26:47-49, Mark 14:43-45, Luke 22:47-48).  However, John 18:3-5 says that Jesus identified Himself.

A possible order of events:

1. Judas identifies Jesus with a kiss
2. Jesus asks, “Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?”
3. Jesus asks the others, “Whom seek ye?”
4. They tell Him that they are seeking Jesus of Nazareth
5. Jesus answers, “I am he.”

There is no contradiction—we just need to put the pieces together.
