Jesus did not know the day nor hour of the second coming—only the Father knew that.  However, Jesus knew everything else.

When Jesus asks questions (as in Mark 5:30), He is not asking because He does not know: He is asking to get someone else’s answer.  In Mark 5:30, He wanted to demonstrate the faith of the woman who touched him.  Matthew 8:10 does not say that Jesus was unaware of the man’s faith, it simply says that Jesus marveled at it.  If I go to an aquarium and see a whale shark, I may “marvel” even though I already heard about whale sharks and may have even known how large they are.  The fact that someone marvels does not mean that they are unaware of something—just that they are beholding something with wonder.

Yes, Jesus knows all things (John 16:30, John 21:17), with the one explicitly stated exception of the day and hour of His return.  For whatever reason, only the Father knows this—and God has a good reason for this, though we do not know what it is.  The fact that Jesus does not know the exact day and hour of His return does not mean that He could not know.  Perhaps He very well could, but for whatever reason wants to keep this a surprise even to Himself.  This is one exception, however, and so the rule still applies, as in Colossians 2:2-3.
