Romans 12:14
I Corinthians 16:22
Galatians 1:8-9
Response
We should not curse those which persecute us. If Paul is cursing anyone in these verses, he is cursing false believers (wolves) in the church.
Furthermore, for those who are against Jesus Christ, a curse already rests on them (John 3:18)—not our curse, but God’s. Thus, by stating that such people are cursed is not to curse them ourselves. Even so, when Jesus Christ was crucified, He did not curse His persecutors or even point out that they were already condemned—He instead prayed for them, and we should do likewise to those who persecute us. However, God differentiates between the world outside the church and hypocrites within it.
